It's a sunday and i'm home alone and i'm supposed to be studying about cerebral cortex and corpus callosum and neurotransmitters and stanford binet intelligence scale and gender-role transcidence and vulnerability of cross-dressing and SEX. =P but all i can think about is how lucky i am to have star wars and man utd's match aired back to back HAHA

Out w lee, haikal and shafie last night. And lee made me watch this live performance by Ben Folds and he's f-ing awesome, i really mean awesome. The way he dovetailed w the assemblage was off the top. And his music is the sex. Just watch alr then you'll know why i'm pro-ben folds. This one's my favourite =]

Acceptance, the cherry on the cupcake =]

First step: Be accepting of who you are. No matter what kinda haunting past you've had, let it go sincerely and move on w life. Yes, it'd be hard but every little step secures your NEW path that's strewn w roses. The fact that you've realised those mistakes of the past shows that deep down inside, you'r willing to start a brand new chapter, a whole brand new you. Don't mope and dwell on what type of person you were last time. That was you then, this is you now and you can shape the future 'you' from what you have in hand. Don't keep on reminding yourself that you were a jerk/bastard/bitch/imbecile/idiot/whatever insensitive words you call yourself, last time. It's not gna make you feel any better. It's true to a certain degree that thinking of what happened before makes you a better person. In other words, reflecting. But over reflecting disintegrates your self-esteem as a whole. It weakens you as a person coz' whenever you'r reminded of what used to happen, you retreat, you withdraw, so where does that put you to deserve what you truly deserve when you yourself feel so small, so little about yourself. Yet when others belittle you, you make sucha fuss out of it. Think again, it's down right contrasting. You've gotta deal w a little pain to gain from it. I'm sure you of all people should know that well, since once a rugger, always a rugger =] The world doesn't needa know what type of person you were then although it would be a good blackmailing piece but other than that, no. No one has the right to judge your self-worth, not even You. It all comes down to you, really. Accept yourself so that others can accept you. Your past moulded the you today. And the you now is nonetheless a great person. So live w it. Live w the fact that you've had a past that drives you to be who you are today. You've gotta learn how to see the world even if its just in a grain of sand, and how to spot a rainbow in a thunderstorm. You've been wanting a revelation. Maybe this is it? Idk and i wouldnt know. But i know that you know i'm here. So here's my chunk of thoughts for you. Let it go sincerely. Don't run away from it, a true hero, conquers what's most fearful to himself. And you, i deem, have the guts AND balls to do it. Prove me right. Say alrightttt, say okkkk~ Ok that wasn't supposed to be part of this. You've aced the realisation part, you'r definitely a better person now, accept yourself and graze yourself upon that bright light that's shining. Ok now, general wise, being around kids have opened my eyes to a whole new dimension and expose me to the non-peachy side of life. How parents barely scrape to pay for children's fees and forgoing everyth at the expense of their happiness. And there are even some children who hafta indulge in vices just to earn a living of their own. It's rather cruel, yes, but all these made em' the strong person they are today. They definitely have high thresholds to put aside what they used to go thru as a child and live on w life AY AY AY. But it wouldnt be easy for em' if we, who makes part of their environment, don't accept em' for who they are and punish em' for the past they have had? It all comes down to acceptance and i, myself, am still struggling w it. Not long back, a day before my bday, asheem, lionel and I took a bus ride home tgt. We boarded the bus and the first thing we did was to comment on the stench that was lingering. We were insidiously making remarks, like "it smells like ass" etc w our fingers pegged to our noses and comtemplating on whether to get down the bus at every bus stop coz' the smell was really unbearable. To you, at this point, it might still be nothing. Hold up. There's more. So there we were standing near the bus cock when i overheard a conversation between two men.

Uncleman 1: I feel so bad that they hafta bear w my smell. I really don't know what to do. I really feel bad. Lucky im going down soon.

Uncleman 2: No la, it's ok! Don't feel bad.

After hearing what both men had to say, i was stumped, literally stumped. I felt so bleahhhhhhhhhh after that and i kept to myself, thinking how selfish of me to have behaved that way obliviously. I'm guilty as charged. But the part that amazed me so much was when he still could smile charmingly while alighting the bus. Uncleman 1, wherever you are, i'm really sorry and i hope you get all the happiness there is in this world. =) That was the revelation that i got on my birthday. A good one i must say. It makes you a whole lot happier being accepting of others. Betul betul betul =]

And to us, we serious miranda needa sit down and talk and be accepting of each others' flaws rather than firing thru blog posts which is like a war in what hell of heaven of flying skies that will never end. HAHAHA.
